Hands-On 3D Printing Workshop

Please read the following terms carefully. By signing below, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the participating minor (the "Student") for the NGE Academy workshop held on July 11th, 2026.

General Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
I understand that participation in the NGE Academy workshop involves hands-on STEM activities with electronic equipment, laptops, and 3D printers. While instructors prioritize safety and provide direct supervision, I acknowledge there are inherent risks involved, including exposure to heated printer components and moving mechanical parts. I hereby release, waive, and discharge NGE Academy LLC, its instructors, and the Elks Lodge host venue from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from any injury or property damage sustained during the workshop.

Equipment Damage Policy
NGE Academy provides professional-grade technology for student use. In the event that a student intentionally vandalizes, sabotages, or recklessly damages the laptops, 3D printers, or venue property through explicit failure to follow instructor safety guidelines, the parent/guardian assumes financial responsibility for the repair or replacement of the damaged equipment. Accidental damage during normal, guided learning activities is fully covered by NGE Academy.

This is not a drop-off program
I agree that a parent or guardian must remain on-site at the venue for the entire duration of the scheduled session. To foster a focused and independent learning environment, parents and guardians are not permitted to participate in the workshop activities; however, their continuous presence on the premises is mandatory. In the event of a medical emergency, I grant permission to NGE Academy staff to secure basic first aid or emergency medical treatment for the Student, and I assume financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
